Safely charge your e-bike battery with the BatteryBox and limit damage in case of ignition!
Specially designed for the storage/charging of lithium-ion batteries
Patented, fully fireproof
The patented cylindrical design of the BatteryBox is suitable for the safe storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. Due to the unique design, the BatteryBox is resistant to the explosive pressure generated during a battery fire and controls the fire and high temperatures, which can reach up to 1,200°C. The BatteryBox is fully fireproof for an unlimited number of minutes.
Storage capacity: up to 2,000Wh., separate storage for battery/charger
If multiple bike batteries are stored in a charging cabinet and one of these batteries catches fire, a chain reaction can occur, causing the other bike batteries to also ignite. The resulting immense explosive pressure and toxic gas formation are life-threatening.
The capacity of the BatteryBox is a maximum of 2,000Wh. (for example, 2 batteries of 1,000Wh. or 4 of 500Wh.), with the charger and battery stored separately. This separated storage prevents unnecessary temperature increases, which positively impacts the lifespan of your bicycle battery and reduces the risk of ignition.
Safe smoke exhaust
The advice is the BatteryBox to provide a safe smoke exhaust so that toxic smoke and flying cell particles are expelled to the outside air. If a safe exhaust to the outside air is not possible, we advise you on the best possible solution for your situation.
Modular
Thanks to the modular principle, the charging capacity can be easily expanded.
Considering operating height, we recommend stacking a maximum of 4 modules. For better accessibility to the lowest module, it is possible to place a configuration of 1, 2, 3, or 4 stacked modules on a base frame.
User-friendly
The BatteryBox is easy to use. If the door is not closed properly, this is communicated with both a light and sound signal.
Certified
The BatteryBox has been extensively tested with critical defective batteries and is certified by renowned testing institutes such as KIWA and MPA Dresden. The BatteryBox meets the safety requirements of insurers and is suitable for insured charging 24/7.

The patented cylindrical design withstands explosive pressure and controls fire and high temperatures up to 1,200°C. This prevents dangerous chain reactions that can occur with battery fires
Maximum of 2,000Wh. per compartment, with separate storage for the battery and charger to prevent overheating and extend battery life
The BatteryBox is expandable by stacking multiple modules, making it easy to increase charging capacity.
The product has been tested and certified by reputable institutions such as KIWA and MPA Dresden, and meets insurers' requirements for 24/7 insured charging.
The BatteryBox is fully fire-resistant for an unlimited amount of time, providing additional safety in case of potential battery fires.
The system can be equipped with a safe smoke exhaust, which vents toxic smoke and cell particles outside, protecting indoor air quality.
The BatteryBox emits a light and sound signal if the door is not properly closed, enhancing user convenience and safety.
The BatteryBox should be placed on a stable and preferably level surface. Optionally, the BatteryBox can be placed on a base frame to improve accessibility to the lower charging compartments. The base frame has a height of 15 cm. It is recommended to stack a maximum of 4 modules.
According to VDMA guidelines, a battery charging cabinet must be equipped with a smoke exhaust that vents to the outside air. For safe smoke exhaust, using the correct materials and ensuring proper installation are essential.
If a smoke exhaust venting to the outside is not possible, the smoke exhaust can be equipped with a smoke detector, which can optionally be connected to an alarm system. Although this solution does not meet VDMA guidelines, the BatteryBox ensures that the consequences of a battery fire are limited to smoke damage.
The BatteryBox can be assembled in many configurations
